On May 1, 2012 Tom successfully defended his four years' work entitled "Capturing Design- Improving conceptual ship design through the capture of design rationale." It was a very formal ceremony at TUDelft and we were grateful for all those who supported, attended, and assisted in the special day.
Amy and Camryn accompanied Tom on the trip to Delft and we were all pleased to see Tom graduate and visit our old stomping grounds. Thanks to Grammy & Poppa for holding down the fort and hanging with Lucas and Hailey in Connecticut.
Pictures include Tom in the graduation attire, the Aula on TUDelft Campus(building where the ceremony took place), Tom & Todd Taylor (committee member), the events marquee, the fancy diploma, and a few shots of the entire committee and awarding of diploma.
We had a blast and look forward to life AFTER the Phd. Congratulations, Dr. Tom!
